Khadija Chinue Prowell (KCP). That's me! Welcome everyone!

Thank you for taking the time to visit my site. I aim to bring a professional and yet "Real-Life" mom/parent...educator... and family-oriented perspective to the world of learning and behaviors.

I started this company about a year after becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA); while continuing to work as a private special- education provider and behavior therapist for 6 years...and ongoing!  Achieving a dual master's degree in Early Childhood General and Special Education/Young students with Disabilities for children Birth- 2nd grade in 2012, then teaching and mentoring in early childhood classrooms since 2009, I found it necessary to enhance my understanding of how to further support families and their children with learning and behavioral difficulties.  Alongside my husband/partner, whom has been a NYCDOE educator for over 15 years, we hope to guide families in the learning and education process.

I consider myself to be a life-long learner! While that may be cliche, in this field its simply imperative. I strive to inspire all young learners to always learn from their experiences!

I realized that parents and families are more responsive and receptive to educators they can trust on an individualized and less hectic basis. Families, (which may include other significant relatives, siblings, extended or immediate) are just as likely to experience anxiety and/or stress due to overwhelming transitions or events that they simply are not prepared for, along with our young students. From the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, these challenges have been even more exposed.

As an intimate yet growing company, the services we offer are to simply  alleviate some of that stress. I look forward to adding a variety of services, resources and availability to further support families. For now please do not hesitate to contact us with questions!

Important! Our diverse and flexible services are to provide guidance and support. We do not function as an ABA agency, and we currently do not provide 1:1 ABA therapy in New York. We can refer you to such agencies. Consultations and services are provided on the basis of enhancing and creating a beneficial overall learning experience. All services are currently private pay only.
